Flash on the neck and bubbles after neck crystallization are often caused by worn mold components rather than machine settings. In this refurbishment project, BJY restored a 96 cavity PET preform mold by inspecting the hot runner, cavity components and take out system, replacing only the worn parts instead of the complete mold. The project eliminated production defects, reduced maintenance costs and extended the mold's service life through accurate diagnosis and precision refurbishment.
